Great location
Bathroom definitely needed a facelift. Other than that, its a perfect location on St. Pete Beach. Room was in the middle section, facing southwest and still had a great view of the beach and sunset. Took the courtesy shuttle to local grocery store and used the kitchen in the room for most meals. Looking forward to staying there again!

Mediocre beach motel
We expected great things as the hotel is part of the Don Cesar chain. But the guy checking us in was useless- took around 30 mins and we were the only people in the reception. Our suite was a good size, but incredibly tired and outdated. It was clean but there was an awful damp smell. The view of the beach was lovely though. We were so disatisfied that we called up expedia and asked for a refund, which they eventually agreed to. We then left the hotel and went to the main Don Cesar hotel down the road and got rooms for only $20 more, which was absolutely fab. I would recommend the beach house suites to a young family who want to stay on the beach and be self catered. But dont expect anything more than a mediocre beach motel. However I think it is overpriced and you can find similar motels on the beach for less money.

Nice Stay
We went fo a last minute vacation and took our 2 kids 10 & 11. The room was spacious and clean. The transfers to the Don Cesar were convenient and quick. The kids loved the Big Pink Hotel and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. You need to know that there is a "Resort Fee" for each day you stay added to your bill that was not advertised on Hotels.com. Other then that it was a good time.
