Beautiful hotel
A beautiful with the largest bedroom and bathroom we have ever had at a hotel, would be terrific for a relaxing weekend away.

Great Service, Great Room, Great Location just the food to get right
A rare early arrival allowed me to sample some of the hotel facilities. Afternoon tea in the conservatory (whilst working) with top service, a wander in the garden & walk in the local countryside. Room was large & comfortable with all the facilities I would need, complementary water, wireless internet, TV, coffee, tea etc. Room service was taken, no charge for the tray which is rare these days, the food was prompt & warm. However the meal wasn’t really up to the standard of the rest of the hotel so far. Starter was good but main course had me eating the side dishes only. Breakfast (included) - again great service, but let down by missing items & undercooked toast. Overall would definitely visit again.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
Watch out for the bull in the local farmers field, it can get quite a good pace going when chasing one across the the said field.

Relaxing Break
My wife & I really needed a relaxing break, after a family wedding, we wernt dissapointed, the hotel was great, which was located down a secluded driveway. Very walm welcome at the reception, and all bar the tv remote controll missing, the room was excellent. One word here, we had been recommended to bookethe excecutive rooms, as the standard rooms are quite small. The restaraunt is quite pricey, but you can obtain ligherter meals in the bar, or as we tried out, the Sopna Indian restaraunt, (about a mile to the right after leaving the drive), was first class. Only minor negative about the weekend, was an A/C unit outside our bedroom window could disturb your sleep, as it seems to clack in & out all day long, suggest therefore not to have room 14 - otherwise great - we will definately return>>
