Very nice hotel but too far from town center
The room was nice and the selection at breakfast was great but as Verona is such a small town this was too far from the main attractions. I do not recommend the hotel on this basis but if you are driving this hotel would be fantastic.

Good location, excellent value for money
We stayed at the Maxim while visiting Verona for the Opera. A good location and not too far from city center. You need either a car public transportation to Verona. The hotel offers a shuttle to the city. Good breakfast buffet.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
Visit a performance of Opera at the arena. A lot of good restaurants in and around Verona. My longtime favorite is Bacco d’Oro in Mezzana di Sotto some 15 km away.
