Very unclean
The room was very nice and the beds were comfortable, but it was very dirty. Upon check in the tub had a ring of dirt in it, there was stool and urine on the toilet, and blood on the hairdryer "off" button. The tray that the ice bucket and glasses were kept were dirty as well. I would NOT stay here again.

Loved our stay!
We planned our vacation to VA beach, staying at a Holiday Inn. Not having been there in years we didn’t know what to expect. Well needless to say, it was GREAT! We stayed Sept. 2nd-7th. The customer service was great, they even let us choose which floor we wanted to be on. We choose the top floor (12th). Everyone had a smile for you. Being that every room was ocean front, it had beautiful views. The landscaping was nice too! We were so lucky that the hotel was right off 264, we didn’t have to travel down any other beach streets to find the hotel. Even though the extra parking was across the street, it was fine, a little walking won’t hurt! It was close to all sorts of shops and restaurants. It was only miles away from other really nice restaurants too. Everyone was so nice, and our housekeeper made our stay nice and homey. Thanks for a great vacation!!

An okay stay but not impressed
To begin with they have very limited parking on the actual hotel site. The overflow parking is one street over and be sure to get everything you need when you check in from your car. They need plate numbers and a tag to hang in your window. We ended up making two trips to the overflow lot to get the info needed to check in. The elevator is extremely slow and with it being a busy place it stops on every floor almost everyt time you need to use it. In our actual room our sliding glass door was extremely hard to open and the frame was separating from the glass. Linens were very clean and housekeeping was very good about cleaning the room when we needed it. Room service was good and fast. However, we ate the first night we stayed there in the hotel restaurant and boy did we regret it! There was hardly anyone in there and it took almost an hour to get our food! There are way better restaurants outside of the hotel areas. The pool and fitness room was a joke in this hotel. The pool is in need of updating and the first day there were no clean towles. The fitness room is tiny with only a few machines. The stay wasn’t the worst we’ve had but was no means the best. For the price find another hotel!

We ate at Rockafellers and it was fantastic. Kid friendly as well!!!!
