Radisson SAS Haugesund Norway
Wonderful. Superb breakfast. We enjoyed the facilities for relaxing in the lounge with tea/coffee provided free.Swimming pool and sauna a luxury we made the most of.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Take a trip on the ferry from Haugesund to Rovaer. Make sure to take the ferry that goes via Feoy. Get a map of the island at the cafe.

Comfortable hotel
One could park easily in front of the hotel. We had a full breakfast included in our price. The front desk was very helpful and allowed us to leave our luggage there while we toured for the day before departing via the nearby Haugesund airport. We rented a car at the airport and it took about 15 minutes to drive the hotel. Our room was comfortable and safe with a view of the water. There was some wear and tear on the hotel floors, etc., not pristine. We would stay here again. Keep in mind it is not the Ritz; Norway is also one of your most expensive countries!
Traveller's tip on local attractions
One hour from Sandeid, and one hour 10 minutes from Vikedal. Downtown Haugesund is just a few miles down the road. The Bergen airport is a short 35 minute flight from Haugesund. There is a huge cemetery in Haugesund.
