Great Location; Great Service
We picked this hotel because of its central location and historic significance. Although it’s not the most "modern" hotel on the block, it won us over with its charm.

Excellent hotel. Courteous and helpful staff. Breakfast is not to be missed
I have stayed at the Continental Hotel on several occasions over the past 10 years. It is excellent. Historic ambience, but with wonderfully spacious rooms fitted with modern conveniences. View of the Square and motos in traffic is priceless. Reasonably priced, and includes the best breakfast in SaiGon. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back.
Ben Than market and Reunification Palace are good places to take kids. Otherwise, go out to the countryside and the Mekong Delta/Vihn Long for boat trips and seeing the floating villages.

Best Piece of History in Ho Chi Minh City
The Continental is an amazing place to stay in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). What it make lack in frills and modern amenities it makes up for in location and ambience. The hotel has a great old feel, and the rooms are spacious and well-appointed. The surrounding neighborhood is filled with great shops and restaurants, and the tourist sites are walking distance or a short cab ride away. Moreover, this is a great value. The other hotels nearby are hideously expensive. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
