Very pleased
The hotel itself is picturesque, and the staff extremely friendly (although one could argue that this is a characteristic common to most Peruvians in the tourism industry). Within walking distance of some very good restaurants, a large nightlife area (Calle de las Pizzas), the coastline (and para-gliding area) and several casinos. Two computer terminals and a full menu to choose from for your free breakfast are bonuses, in my opinion. Also has a large lounge area which is constantly populated by backpackers, giving it something of a cool hostel vibe. The only (slight) negative for me related to the comfort of my bed. It was a bit hard and the pillows not great, but I expect that when traveling abroad. What made things worse was really climate-related: we went during their "winter," which means it is cool yet humid. This gave everything in our room a "damp" feel, in particular the beds. Probably not their fault, but I didnt experience this in any other hotel in Peru. In all, a great choice.
