Amazing hotel - even better than expected
This hotel copped some bad reviews - mainly for service - but everything about it was top notch. Staff were great - hot and helpful, despite what you might hear - the location was amazing. Room interiors are stunning - our room had awesome views over LA and the pool. The bar is great too. Only downfall? You might get a good rate on the room but everything else here is super expensive, including valet. But you have to pay a price for this kind of quality.

Great hotel apart from the noise
Just got back from spending about 10 days in the Mondrian and it was an very good hotel overall. The one thing we were disappointed with was the noise levels from the hotel’s outside bar, we were on the 10th floor and most nights the noise kept us awake until 2-3am. However the service we received was excellent and when we mentioned about the noise they upgraded us and moved us to the other side of the building with no trouble whatsoever. I would definitely recommend the Mondrian, just make sure you get a room on the opposite side of the building to the sky bar!
