Carrington - I would definitely go back.
We had a very nice experience in this hotel. The breakfast was superb and I was surprised by the standards of cleanliness. The location of the hotel is nice but a bit away from the towncenter. I will defo go back with this deal.

Beautiful entrance hall BUT Poor Bedrooms
Spent 2 nights here, 1st impression as you enter the hotel is that it is modern, clean and stylish however! the minute you walk up the stairs to your room you get a very different impression. Hallways are tatty as was the bedroom we stayed in. Chipped enamel in the bath, rickety light on dressind table whose shade was not even attached. Desperately in need of refurbishment, very antiquated.
Not a 10min walk into town as noted on website!!! Not unless youre an athlete! Normal walking speed will take you at least 20-25mins. Not straightforward walk either, got lost more than once

Pleasant stay at Carrington
Quite a walk from Bournemouth town centre and train station but taxis are ever so cheap and can be called directly from the front desk so no hassle! Lots of parking at this hotel if you do drive. Kettle in our room didn’t work however our friends room across the way did so wasn’t a major problem. The hotel was locked at night although someone was always on hand to let us in. More family-orientated hotel but overall The Carrington House Hotel was a lovely hotel, clean with chirpy staff - we had a pleasant stay, and even took a swim in the heated pool that we were more than impressed by!
