Welcomed back
This was my second stay at Tradewinds and all my expectations for my return visit were met plus more! The staf went out of their way to make us feel welcome whether it was in the bar or the restaurant or reception. No request was too much and at the end of 16 days we were part of the family! It is a ’grown up’ hotel, where although children are welcomed, the ambience is for a chilled out adult experience. Looking forward to my next return visit and wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Very pleasant stay
The staff are genuinely very friendly and offer good service. The food in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. The views from the terrace are great, as were the views from our sea view room. The beach is a 15 minute walk away from the hotel but there is a free shuttle bus which is useful for the hill on the way back!
Go to the party at Shirley Heights on a Sunday evening. well worth the trip!

A charming hotel, will definitely return
Set on a hill with amazing views over the gardens to the sea you can watch the sunset from your balcony or from the terrace. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the ambiance is charming and the staff are friendly and helpful. This was a wonderful retreat for one night for us and we look forward to returning for a longer stay next time. The food is excellent and is served on the lovely dining terrace, its well worth staying in for!
