the only thing you need to do is get a microwave in all rooms and do something with the bugs.get a revolving stage for the entertainment.

An Ok Hotel...You get what you pay for.
The staff is very nice and helpful. The overall feel of the hotel is old like it needs a makeover. The room was always clean, the grounds are clean- feels like you are in the middle of the jungle lots of plants and greenery. Lots of sandflies, mosquitoes and bees too. The food and drinks were ok not overly spicey at all (We were looking for a little spice). The best and worth making reservations is to the Casablanca restuarant. The food was delicious.

Of course, Go for Dunns River Falls. You can set it up easily at the tour desk and it is the best tour. (Don’t forget the pool shoes.)

Great Destination Spot
I went to Starfish Trelawny to celebrate my 5 year anniversary with my boyfriend. We decided to go to Starfish upon the recommendation of other Expedia travelers...and it was exactly what we expected! The staff was great, they couldn’t be friendlier. The rooms were outdated, but still kept up nicely. The resort is big, but not too big (it’s a good 3-5 minute walk from the hotel room to the beach depending on where your room is). It was definitely an all-inclusive resort and we made use of the non-motorized water sports and ate our hearts out. The only things that were not included, and I wish in knew ahead of time, were the meals at the sit-down restaurants. The buffet was completely free, but they also have 4 restaruants and they each have surcharges. Wonderful hotel, wonderful experience. I fell in love all over again.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Try doing the excursion down the Martha Brae River. You travel down 3 miles of the 8 mile river on a 30 foot bamboo raft with someone at the opposite end of the raft steering you downstream. It’s a wonderful experience...you get to see enormous trees, beautiful plants and flowers all in the comfort of the cool jungle while you sit back and relax.
