Great hotel - perfect relaxation
We spent a couple of days at Cocos transferring from the BVI before heading home. It was a great place to relax, with only 26 villas the atmosphere was calm and ideal for us to spend time enjoying the beach and the fantastic views from the open air restaurant. We were very well looked after, no request was too much trouble. We were also given a room to stay in after we had checked out since our flights werent until 19.00 that evening. Well visit again next time for much longer.

not impressed at all
there was a gravel road leading to the hotel. In the parking lot there were two vicious looking dogs. further enquiry revealed that they were not. On the first day for lunch I found plastic in the food. The hotel staff were very friedly though.

Outstanding, Relaxing Vacation
Cocos was fantastic! The staff was extremely friendly and tried very hard. The food served at the restaurant was as good as any of the restaurants on the island. The hotel is set on the side of a hill and it is an uphill walk from teh beach to teh rooms. You may wish to consider this if you are in poor shape.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Dont be afraid to talk to the people selling stuff on the beach. They are very polite and will take "no" for an answer. Negotiate prices for jet skis. We highly recommend the day trip to Barbuda. Very important. Make SURE to get a room with an air conditioner. If you are a tea drinker bring your own tea. They only serve Lipton. No need to rent a car. The beach at Cocos is about as good as any on the island. Take a cab and spend a morning in St Johns to check out the market.
