Absolutely amazing!
We had booked our trip through expedia and after reading the reviews, decided on the V&A Hotel on the Waterfront. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with smiles and were upgraded to the dock house for our honeymoon. The Dock House is in a fantastic location - steps away from the waterfront from secluded fromt he hustle and bustle. Its a really intimate and romantic boutique hotel that is roomy and stylishly decorated. The service is impeccable. When we got to our room, the management surprised us with a bottle of champagne, strawberries with fresh whipped cream and chocolate sauce and rose petals on the bed and leading to the bath in the bathroom. Absolutely fantastic experience!

One of the best places to stay.......
in Cape Town if you want to be in the thick of it. The central location in the Waterfront area is an ideal base to explore Cape Town from. Surrounded by lots of exceptional restuarants and a stones throw from the Robin Island boat. The staff couldnt make you feel more welcome or help to make your stay a memorable one. The service from check in to room service was wonderful. We will definately be returning again
Traveller's tip on local attractions
If there is no cloud on the top of Table Mountain grab a taxi and get up to the cable car quick. The views from from top are amazing. We would recommend hiring a car for the day and driving yourself at a leisurely pace down the coast to Cape Point making a stop a Boulders Beach on the way back.

will certainly go back
We had a room facing the harbour & the mountains, one could observe not nly the activities going on at the harbour but also the seals swimming in the water as well as soaking up the sun. The Hotel is situated at the waterfront with all the hussle & bussle but it was very quite at night. The breakfast was excellent including oysters with bubbly.
One has everything at ones doorstep, cafes, restaurants, shopping mall as well as other shops, music at every corner. Starting point for lot of trips
