Very impressed!
Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. I was a bit concerned about staying here as I had read a couple of reviews that had made unfavourable comments about the area of Toronto where it is located. Yes you can see blocks of welfare housing a few blocks away but so what? We felt completely safe walking around at night. The location is great in that it is in a quiet part of town (very little traffic noise, no other noise from the street) but is still only 5 minutes walk from the Eaton Centre and other shops / restaurants etc. The breakfast was very good, with a wide variety and plenty of it, just overpriced as it was not included in our room rate. We only ate breakfast in the hotel once as there were lots of other cafes etc. nearby offering a breakfast that was just as good if not better at a third of the cost. I was in Toronto to take exams so spent a week at the hotel. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable that we wanted to bring it home! Would recommend it to anyone.

Steps away from the action
Very nice hotel only a few blocks from the big city center of Toronto. It was a quiet hotel with no big parties in or nearby. Great beds. Mandatory valet parking was expensive but standard for the location, better to take the train. Close to shopping but quite a hike to the harbor and CN tower. They did stick a pending room charge on my card but probably waiting for Expedia to pay up.
