Nice place to stay
I had a good experience at this hotel. The staff was friendly, the service was good. (Full disclosure: I am fluent in French, so that may or may not have impacted my experience. The staff, however, seemed pretty fluent in English as well.) Everything was ridiculously expensive (food, sunscreen at the gift shop), but Im told thats how it is at all of the hotels on Tahiti. Best part was the white sand beach/pool.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Dont eat at the hotel, if you can avoid it. Theres a shopping center right next door to the hotel with a supermarket, pharmacy and restaurants. Also, at the service entrance to the hotel from the road, there was a roulette. I dont know if that roulette is there all the time, but it was there consistently during my stay. Had tasty rotisserie chicken and vegetable au gratin enough for 2 people for under 10 XFP.
