Excellent hotel--I’d definitely return there
The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and room and valet service staff were prompt and courteous. Hotel is just a couple blocks away from Queen Street Mall, many tourist sites, and the wonderful "citycat" water taxis--and only a couple of blocks from the airport train stop for the city center. Very reasonably priced and excellent rooms.

Great Hotel
This hotel is in great location--close to restaurants, shopping, and transport. Room was very clean and really comfortable. They have self-service laundry too. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Good hotel in good location
My wife and I stayed one night at the Citigate King George Square one night before we returned home from a seven-night holiday in southeast Queensland. The hotel is in excellent condition; recently refurbished, I presume. Our room was small, but tidy and comfortable. The location is great for business travelers or those like us looking for a one-night stop-over before departing for points beyond the city. The hotel is within walking distance to Brisbane city hall, a large train station, and the Queen Street Mall, which has plenty of shops and restaurants to check out.
