Pros: Pretty good room, excellent breakfeast, very conviniently located Cons: No bath (only shower)

Metropole Hotel, Riga
This hotel was an excellent choice. Probably one of the Grand Dames of Riga, very centrally located on the corner of Old Town, near the Art Nouveau district, across the street from the RR station. Inexpensive yet comfortable with ’Old Europe" ambience. Great restaurant with opulent decor and excellent food. Very helpful staff, speak English. Recommend highly.
