Nice hotel at a great price
The hotel was clean and comfortable at a great price. I heard very little noise during the night even though you’re right in the center of town. We were visiting Bowdoin college, which is just a few miles away.

Close to LL Bean and other shops
I was in the area visiting colleges and just needed a place to sleep and shower. Staff was very friendly, room was clean. Only complaint is that there was no conditioner in the room, just shampoo. There is a sign in the bathroom stating that if you forgot any toiletries to call the front desk. When I called the front desk they told me they didn’t have any. A hotel without conditioner? That was a first. No big deal, life goes on!
Traveller's tip on shopping
I had no idea that Freeport was much more than the LL Bean store. It is definitely worth spending a few hours there if you like to shop.
