Good but not great
Hotel is a little bit far away from the main attractions in Brighton. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean but a little bit cold (the window that didn’t even close properly) and we were woken up by the rubbish men in the morning.

Use this as a "back-up" hotel when you have no other options
This hotel is a little far from the pier. It can be a long walk, especially if you have bags. The rooms are adequate but certainly not spectacular. This hotel was cobbled together from several structures so the hallways can be VERY convoluted. You may have to walk up and down and all around to get to your room. This hotel can be a great "back-up" option since it is one of the few in Brighton that will allow a single-night booking on a weekend. Most Brighton hotels have a two-night minimum on weekends.
I would not suggest that this hotel isn’t safe, but I would strongly suggest that you familiarize yourself with the emergency exit layout once you get in your room. The hallways are not simple and straightforward and the nearest exit may not be the route that you took from reception. In my case, the closest exit was literally next to my room, but if I had tried to backtrack my arrival route in an emergency, I would have probably gotten lost.
