Quality Hotel
The Albergo Al Cappello Rosso is a very nice hotel in a non-touristy Italian city. It is well located just off the main square. The rooms are beautifully appointed if a bit small. The breakfast that came with the room was very good with higher quality items. (We particularly loved the espresso.)

Good central hotel for visiting Bologna. Staff very helpful and friendly. Don’t take a car there!

Good location, basic facilities
The location is very good, just off the main square, but the hotel is pretty standard. Clean but otherwise dated decor. Pricey for what you get. Staff friendly enough until you ask for their WiFi password which they protect like its a national secret or something...
