Needs an update

Nice Pool, but a bit shallow at one end - 0.75 metres! Gym and shower (only 1 in changing room) very small and only 1 or 2 bits actually worked. No drinking water available. The rest of the hotel just needs an update - very tired looking. For the price was expecting much better. Good friendly staff

More attention to detail

I rom had a stale smell and their were blankets and not duvets as expected in 2009. The alarm went off at midnight in the room next door which was empty. Reception was needed to silence it and then it went off again 20 minutes later. One of the long life milks was that old it had solidified.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff magnificent

Friendly but very basic, needs signficant investment.

Although the staff were very friendly and efficent the hotel appeared to be in need of some serious TLC. Parking proved to be the first challenge as there was not enough spaces for the size of the hotel and therefore ended up paying another hotel for overnight off road parking. As someone who stays in hotels frequently through business travel I would class this hotel as a 2 star and not the 3 star as advertised.
