Virginia Courtesy
We came in a little late, nearly midnight, and the staff was very courteous, helping to get us into our room very quickly. I chose a couple of bottles of water from the little convenience store, and the gentleman waived the charge.

Excellent Hotel
The Courtyard by Marriott in Charlottesville was excellent! I stayed on a Saturday night in March while visiting Monticello. Location was superb, we had a large room, however, when we called for late checkout the woman from the front desk was rude and very on edge. We checked out 45 minutes after check out time. When we went to the front desk and asked her which restaurants she recommended in the area for lunch,she responded rudely and named the two generic restaurants a block away from the hotel. I also asked for a reciept, and she acted like it was such an inconvienence to print it out. Im sure it was just this one employee, and it does not reflect the hotel itself. Everything else was excellent and I would love to return, I just hope they realize how negative thier employee is.
