A Beautiful Place to Relax
Day Dream Island resort is a short ferry ride from Hamilton Airport, so is easy enough to get to. The grounds of the resort and the scenery are just wonderful. There is plenty to do there without spending additional money for trips off the island, and they seem to have activities for all ages. I was a bit disappointed with the snorkeling as the water was cloudy the whole time we were there. However, I was able to get a flavor for the Barrier Reef by spending some time at the resort’s Living Coral Reef with real coral, sharks rays and an assortment of other tropical fish. Breakfast is included and had a large variety of hot and cold items. My husband is a big eater, so we enjoyed the buffet dinners. Our room was large, clean and nicely furnished. The staff was friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed Family Movie Night on the beach.

Do not stay here
Found this hotel very over rated. The cost of everything was over priced. Beds were uncomfortable, food was very limited. This hotel is only ideal for people with plenty of money to keep yourself busy. Found the staff very unhelpful. Had several issues and staff came across well but nothing materialized. Found the entertainment lacking in anyway to the standards advertised when booking our stay.
Stock up on drinks, food and snacks before you take the boat is the island as there is no going back and forth to mainlands. Book early for trips you may wish to do while there.

Good for family stays
Relaxing spa, tons of family activities and helpful staff. Only complaint would be restrictions to mediocre resort foods.
