Good value for the money
The Hotel is conveniently placed, within 2 minutes walk from the subway station and 5 minutes walk from the Saint-Lazare Railway Station Very friendly service The only downside was the elevator, which was out of the service for 2 months

BIG disappointment!
We were in Paris for 5 days out of our 2 week tour of France. We chose the Berne Opera on the last nite of our stay because it was so close to the Metro Station and would make transport to the airport easier. It was by far the nastiest place I have ever stayed. The dirt on the carpet was an inch thick! The furnishings were old and dilapidated. The shower had no curtain or barrier-water just sprayed into the floor. The elevator was broken and we had to lug our suitcases up and down four flights of stairs. The area of town is also very shady. It was the only time I felt unsafe in Paris. You can do much better than this hotel!!

Metro is very easy to use. We even used it to go to and from airport and on train to Versailles (a MUST SEE!!)
