The fitness club facilities
The hotel is nice and a good value, however the advertised fitness club facilities are limited in availability as non-guest club members have priority over the hotel’s guests in booking. Point in fact my wife and I wanted massages. We tried to book with one and with two days notice, and we were only able to get one appointment in all. We contacted management after our return to the US and were told that that’s how it is and to let them know in advance of our next visit. I recommended that the hotel contacts guests in advance of their visit to encourage pre-booking of fitness club services, or to hire back-up staff. Haven’t received a response.

very Impressed
This hotel was lovely, the room was really spacious, we were lucky and got a room with a poolside terrace which was beautiful. The swimming pool, whirlpool and spa facilities were fantastic. The parking is free, a real plus in France. The downside is the location as the public bus to Lyon is not frequent especially in the evening and there are no restaurants around the hotel. The food in the hotel is expensive and not worth it, better to eat in Lyon.
Ask for a poolside terrace room, eat and drink in Lyon not in the hotel.

Tired but with good facilities
Some girlfriends and I chose this hotel for a Spa, shopping and ’going out’ weekend. The hotel staff were excellent and the hotel is quite comfortable but outdated. We had quite a number of Spa treatments booked that we all soon cancelled due our consistent dissapointment after our initial appointments. The treatments were all just OK and much quicker than they were listed, and it was without the extras that you come to expect, such as a hand massage when your face mask sets, relaxing music when you are having a scrub or even the staff remembering to come back into the room when your face is being steamed for over 15 minutes! one scrub left one of us with bleeding knees and other areas neglected. If you are a sun and water lover, the pool facilities are excellent.
