Great stay; great staff
Beds were beyond comfortable...in fact only "complaint" was that sleeping in all that soft downy material was too warm. Staff was incredibly friendly and beyond helpful. One concierge even walked with me to the train ticket office to help me purchase tickets. One member of our group had her room upgraded to a beautiful sweet at no cost because the hotel "likes to do that when they can." Location on Place Bellecour was excellent.

Perfect location
We were very pleased with our stay at the hotel. We made a reservation via hotels. com for an early check-in and were most happy to be able to check in at around 9:30 am after our long-haul flight. After freshening up, we were able to catch the sightseeing bus tour at 10:45 am and the bus stop was only literally 100 m from our hotel. The concierge made a good recommendation for lunch at Le Sud. We also tried the restaurant at the hotel, which was also nice. We liked the deco of the hotel. The room was a bit on the small side though the bathroom was spacious. Valet parking was available at around EUR7 for overnight. One minor issue is that the hotel was out of electricity for some time during one afternoon but I guessed thats more the problem of Lyon, rather than the hotel itself.

Great value
The hotel was beautiful and very clean. Excellent location. Within walking distance of all the shopping and restaurants. We were there in May and the room rates were the best value especially for the quality of the hotel. We would definitely stay there again.
