Great value

The Movenpick was great value for money. The surrounding area of Andel is good, there are a couple of nice restaurants and bars etc. The hotel is probably a good 10 minute walk to the metro station, but within a couple of stops you are straight into the heart of the old town. Breakfast selection is very impressive. Drawback about the hotel is that guests can smoke almost everywhere in the hotel, something difficult to get used to. The staff aren’t hugely welcoming or helpful, but do what you ask of them! Definitley worth staying there.

A must is the Reduta Jazz club - excellent music and very authentic!

One of my favourites

This hotel is in best location in a very quiet but safe area. Metro station is very close for trips to city centre (old town) and so is the tram station. It even has a shhopping mall with 24 hour Tesco store!! Views from the terrace restaurant are stunning. They have barbecue everyday in summer. Fabulous hotel to stay in Prague.

Nice Hotel, once you find it!!,

Nice quality hotel, just a little difficult to find from the public transport directions, Good breakfast, good start to the day, The location is not quite downtown, but access to the trams and metro is close by, and there is a nice shopping centre, with restaurants and bars close by,

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks

Buy the daily or 3 day metro / tram ticket, as they are good value & ideal for getting around, and last for a 24 hour period once validated,
