Comfortable, good value, noisy plumbing
The Huntingdon was quite pleasant. The location is superb, just a couple of blocks from parliament buildings and across the street from the Port Angeles ferry. The price was certainly right! My one complaint is that the old plumbing is extremely noisy. When my neighbor was showering, it sounded like a 747 was landing next door.

Trains, Boats and Planes
In an effort to find a more interesting way to reach the auntie and uncle in Qualicum Beach we needed to spend the night in Victoria before catching the train up the coast. We chose the Huntingdon and discovered its location was within a pleasant walking distance to many attractions in the (inner) harbor area not the least of which was Barbs Place for fish and chips at the wharf. The exterior still needs a major "dust and adjust" but all in all a nice stay.
Traveller's tip on dining
We found that most places to eat "roll it up" at 9 pm sharp. Barbs til 9:30 ;o).

Friendly staff
Nice location. Across the street from the Clipper and within walking distance to most things.
