Marco Polo Presenja is a comfortable four-star boutique-style hotel located right in the very heart of Moscow in a respectable, quiet and secure area close to all business centres, offices and embassies. The hotel has a very nice and comfortable lobby with a small bar/lounge, summer terrace cafe and 2 cosy restaurants offering international cuisine. There is a business centre, health club, 24-hour room service and reception with definitely most friendly staff among Moscow hotels providing most personalised service. Conference facilities for up to 150 pax and a meeting room for 15 pax are available. All guestrooms and floor interiors were fully renovated by 2002 including installation of electronic security system and are appropriately equipped to make you feel at home while away from home. The hotel has a variety of services to meet the needs of both business and leisure travellers. Visa support for guaranteed bookings available on request. Visa support is included in the cost of the first night. A fee equal to one night room rate is charged if a visa support booking is cancelled.No-show fee in amount of the first night cost is charged to the credit card provided as the guarantee of the reservation in case of no-show or late cancellation. Travel Agent commision is 12 percent

An excellent hotel, small and friendly.
My wife and I stayed at the Marco Polo for four nights in all and we were most impressed by the quality of our rooms, the friendliness of the welcome and the helpfulness of the staff. The hotel is situated just outside the main city centre but within easy walking distance of the Kremlin etc. The neighbourhood features the well known Patriach’s Pond. It is a quiet and attractive area with many small shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed an excellent meal at the Don Pedro; the restaurant attached to the Marco Polo. We certainly intend to stay there again when we return to Moscow.

Location to Red Square
The Hotel is mentioned as being 2km from Red Square - I’m not sure of the distance but it is about 25mins walk at a leisurely pace.

Marco Polo Presenja
Reasonably priced and well located. Staff mostly speak English and are very polite and helpful. Hotel offers free WIFI and up to date facilities.Room was a little noisy and too hot, but was basically well presented. Breakfast best avoided as largely in-edible. Expect company of a commercial nature if you spend an evening in the bar.

Restuarant next door over-priced & not good, go to the Italian just down the road ( Pasta Mama ?)much better food and good value
