History and luxury combined
This wondeful hotel is pure luxury but worth the investment for the experience and the memories.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Email the hotel in advance to ask them to reserve tickets for the Uffitzi and Accademia to aviod internet booking fees and queues on the day. Also, although very expensive, book a personal tour guide again in advance from the concierge, for a 3 hour masterclass in art history and you are taken to the key works and hear and appreciate their significacnce.

Fabulous service and room! Can’t wait to go back next year. We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in Florence.

Beautiful views on our balcony
Our first room smelled of cigarette smoke so we were quickly and efficiently upgraded to a fantastic room with a balcony which over looked the river and the square. Simply stunning. WARNING BREAKFAST IS SO EXPENSIVE in the restaurant. We had much better value by getting coffee and croissants on room service and we had it on a table in the morning sun on the balcony! You got 3 pastries each, fresh juice and a big pot of tea or coffee etc. Saved about 20 Euros each morning!! Service was fabulous in general and it is a hotel in a great loation.
