Good value for the price
Good location, room very clean, cordial staff, agility in the check in and check out. No luxury at all, but very good hotel, specially because of the rates.
Traveller's tip on shopping
Near the main comercial street Ku’damm(less than 5 minutes on foot), with lots of shops and restaurants, were tourism buses pass frequently and all other public transports.

A clean and comfortable hotel in a good location
The hotel appears to be undergoing gradual refurbishment. Our room was clean and tidy, with facilities you’d expect from a 3* (certainly up to Travel Lodge standard). It is in a good location, being quiet but only 5 minutes walk from Ku’Damm U-station.

Dated But Good
I have just returned from a 2 night stay and found the location to be good for the price, of course you could stay closer to the main areas but not for the that price. I found the hotel and rooms to be very dated and old, but looking at all the hotels in that area they seem to be the same. this did not effect our trip in any way, and all our needs were catered for. all in all it was a great hotel but expect old carpet and dated decor.
parallel to the street that the hotel is on, is "the Berlin story" do this tour first before taking the bus tour. you really get a sense of how Berlin was back then and to see the difference when on the bus is amazing.
