Affordable, good location, clean!
I was a tad worried before we arrived since the hotel was so inexpensive compared to others we’d also found on Expedia. However, though it is an older hotel, it was in good repair and most importantly- very clean! We enjoyed our stay, and especially enjoyed watching the sun rise in the mornings over the bay from our balcony. Much of the things we wanted to do while there was within 2 miles and the beach was in walking distance. Service was great, no problems at all and the kids enjoyed swimming in the pool in October!

OK for weekend stay
First impression was not good, it is an older motel. But then we found things that were important for a weekend stay were fine. For example, no bugs crawling around, sheets were clean, shower and toilet were clean and functional, microwave and fridge worked fine, AC was fine, etc. Staff could be a little more friendly.
Close to many restaurants and a Super Walmart in Portland. There are a couple of souvenir shops around USS Lexington - avoid shop with the "shark" at front door, go to the one next to it, much more selection and prices are more reasonable.

AWFUL
This was the first and last time I try cheap, you get what you pay for. The pictures on the site are not current, door kicked framework needs to be done, curtains are stained and coming down the sheets are another story and the towels are like sand paper. Not ever going back. Staff treat you with no kindness at all.
