Thankful for a Good Night Sleep!
After travelling all day from San Diego and heading to east Texas for daughters college, we were determined to make it into Texas on the first day of travel. Van Horn does not offer too many choices but after stopping at other hotels in different years, the Holiday Inn Van Horn was definitely the best choice we’ve made - and now we won’t have to take any chances with another hotel. It’s a very clean hotel with comfortable beds, quiet rooms (ours was toward the back, further away from I-10) and nice breakfast choices where they don’t mind if you take a banana/apple for the road! We travel quite a bit and this is the first review I’ve decided to offer since I’m always interested to read others reviews on properties. Good luck.

Service - ?
We were booked well ahead to time, and arrived around 4:00 pm. No 1st floor rooms available - and when we got to the 2nd floor the room’s toilet was not functioning. So, move to 1st floor (alas they had a room!). Holiday Inn Express almost always provides outstanding service, and a high quality of furnishings (this was recycled room from a previous hotel I bet). We were disappointed.
