4 Stars? Please. Faded Glory. Deferred maintainence. Cannes is wonderful. They need to spend a few bucks on furniture also.

Value for money!
I was a bit apprehensive when we reached the hotel as the outside requires some renovation, however, once inside it was a different story. The rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures - the decor is very modern and new! I had really comfortable night’s sleep, though the views from the room weren’t gr8 but a relaxing a stay! Also the staff were very helpful.

Terrible
I really don’t know how this is rated 4 stars!! Whilst the lobby is well presented, the rest of the hotel is dirty with a damp odour. My room was a standard room and a good size but even though it was on a non-smoking floor, there was a slight smoke smell mixed in with the dampness. When I drew back the curtain there was a dirty old shoe behind it, the TV and some of the lights didn’t work which was not very helpful when I came back at 1am from a hard day’s work. When I tried ringing reception about it they assured me the lights should work and didn’t want to come up and look. When I checked out and paid for the 1 chocolate bar I had from the mini bar, they didn’t give me the correct change (however, this seems endemic in Cannes). Whilst relatively less expensive for Cannes, it is not value for money
