Will Return
We stayed on night at this lovely old mansion in this lovely coastal town. The decor is lovely and the staff was friendly and gracious. We have raved about it to friends and plan on staying there again, but this time for more than one night.

Wonderful Experience
The Rhett House Inn was a wonderful experience that we chose on whim for single night stopover. Our stay was such a pleasant sojourn that we have added it to our list of places to return to in the future... for more than a single evening.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
For a change of pace for early risers, try the self-directed walking tours of the surrounding neighborhoods in the early morning. We did so at 6:15am, and found the cool morning, sunrise and ancient oak trees to be a welcome relief from the hubbub of auto travel and vacationers hustle.

Would love to return
Due to Marine Corps recruit graduation time constraints, we could not relax much to fully enjoy the Inn and its surroundings. It was so lovely though, that I could see us planning a true vacation, sitting on the porch or in the luscious garden, enjoying the amenities and each other.
Traveller's tip on dining
Some wonderful restaurants within walking distance in the downtown area. Saltus was excellent overlooking the bay. Almost all shops close at 1730 (5:30 PM) however.
