Another Great Visit
We had second lovely stay at the Villa Premiere. The staff is always helpful and dedicated to our enjoyment and relaxation, without being intrusive.

Extreme Relaxation
We have stayed at this hotel previously and it always seems to impress. Many of the waiters and bartenders have been there for several years and are familiar with you if you are a repeat customer. The all inclusive is the only way to go in our book. We stayed for seven days and drank and ate our way through the week. We had dinner down by the beach the last evening and they made it wonderful and perfect even in the rain. We did pay to upgrade to the Honeymoon suite (the rooms with the hot tubs on the balcony) for my husband and I it wasnt worth the extra money - we would have rather upgraded to the premium room with the jacuzzi tub in bathroom - those rooms are larger. We had one of those previously and liked the space over the hot tub. The fitness room had one treadmill that didnt work properly but otherwise it was sufficient for the stay. The maids/butlers the entire staff is top notch and are eager to make your stay memorable. I cant not say enough good about the hotel. It is not a hotel that has activies and such lined up it is one that is geared toward relaxation and pampering the guests. We have stayed in another adult only property in PVR and the Villa is the only place to go - it is worth the extra money. Next trip will be 10 days because 7 was not long enough!
Traveller's tip on shopping
If you shop downtown - visit the flea market but not on Tuesday and Wednesdays - the cruise ships dock and they do not barter as well.

Very Nice & Relaxing Splurge
My wife and I stayed at Villa Premiere Aug.10-13, as part of a longer vacation in Puerto Vallarta. Given that this is the low season, and the global economy is depressed, there were very few people staying at the hotel - these factors may have contributed to us receiving a very nice room upgrade at check-in. PROs: In any case, the room was immaculate, with tasteful decor; staff were super-friendly and helpful; spa was great; everything very quiet and relaxing. A nice location too - still walkable to the Malecon downtown. All-in-all a good value for the price. CONs: Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was nice, and was beautifully presented, but overpriced. We found a place back 1 block across the street where we could get a better selection for half the price - and experience some of the local morning culture at the same time. OVERALL: recommended as a nice getaway or splurge. Definitely worth the extra cost for the relaxing environment. Use the hotel spa, relax on the balcony or by the pool, but eat out and walk around town - there are far too many great restaurants and bars in PVR that are not-to-be-missed!
