Good for family with a car!
Big hotel on edge of lake 20km south of Amsterdam. Rooms big with upstairs mezzanine for children. Friendly front desk staff, solved problem of no hot water quickly, but then room too warm as thermostat seemed not to work! Restaurant very expensive to we ate in Amsterdam city centre. City is easily accesible if you can drive to the Transferium ArenA,( Ajax football stadium) , 10 mins north of hotel on A2. Parking and metro to Centraal Station very reasonable.
Affordable Chinese restaurant in Vinkeveen town. Good takeaway pizzeria in Vinkeveen too,turn right off of road from hotel. In Amstedam we had breakfast near to Centraal station and found good sandwich place in Jordaan district.

Not impressed
The Hotel is well located and the rooms are excellently laid out. The service is not to int’l standards. We had to carry our luggage ourselves to our room that was upstairs accessed via small metal stairs OUTSIDE. There is no wireless access in the rooms and the breakfast is expensive for what you get.The housecleaning team is also not zealous.Swimming pool closed forever.
If you are going on holidays with a big group 6-8 persons, this may be a good choice.Don’t buy food in the hotel, but use it as a place to sleep and you can cook in the hotel , too.

Can expect quality for price
Hotel is far from Amsterdam Centraal, but if you like to be away from city then it is the right place to stay. Write now there is construction underway of flyovers and highway near the hotel.But if you have a car then it is not a problem else it will take nearly one hour to reach Amsterdam Centraal by bus and train.

The hotel is far away from exhibition place RAI.So it is better to have your own car when you stay in this hotel.
