Edinburgh Radisson
What a lovely hotel! The position could not have been better, right in the middle of the Royal Mile. The staff were very accommodating and put me at my request in a top floor room with a view, where I could see right across Edinburgh towards the sea. Spotless rooms, leisure areas etc.

Sleep Deprivation, Dont stay here
Friendly, clean, comfortable and in an excellent location would not fail to recommend it BUT for one thing. Be prepared to have every night disturbed by the screaming and shouting of the drinkers coming and going from Whistlebinkies night club to the side of the hotel (closes at 3.00a.m. but there can be upwards of 100 singing and dancing in the street until 4.00a.m.) Such a pity as we thought we had found a gem only to find that it was real torture due to sleep deprivation (even the double glazing was defeated by the noise).
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
The 24 hour pass on the tour bus from Waverley Bridge is good value as was the fish restaurant in Thistle Street "Fishers".
