Good hotel but a bit tired
The hotel itself was comfortable and the room was good. The hotel has a very nice leisure pool, but no actual beach club. The only slight issue is that the hotel was one of the first in Muscat so elements of it are a bit tired. There was no wireless internet in my room and the network cable did not work. I asked for this to be sorted out several times, but to no avail. Location in relation to the airport and downtown Muscat is pretty good.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Muttrah Souk is a must - a real experience and a good place to pick up some gifts. You do need to haggle over the proces a bit though
