It’s ok if you are on a desperate budget

Let’s be clear. This is a motel. You have a room that opens into the parking lot and basically on the street. Yes it has a pool - which is also in the parking lot with no privacy from either fellow guests or the general public. The breakfast is served in the reception (4x4m room) at two tables for the whole place. So its ok to stop over at on the way somewhere else.

Good value, adequate accomodations

This location was next best to being in Carmel where it is tough to get lodging for the Concours weekend, especially for less than 4-5 days. Rate was excellent and accomodations were good overall, would recommend. Pool and pool area is small thus not good if that is a consideration.

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks

Easy drive to all Carmel and Monterey attractions.

It was okay

We were there for the labor day weekend. The hotel is in a quite place and is slightly difficult to find. From the outside, it looks like a motel. The room was small, but surprisingly had all the necessary amenities, including toiletries, coffee, iron, hangers, and sufficient fresh towels. There was even a small table with two chairs and a fridge, as well as a microwave. There was a big stain in one of the bed covers;however, the covers looked like they had been washed. It appeared that the hotel owner was trying to save on electricity because some of the bulbs were removed. The morning breakfast was convenient and there were muffins, toast, fruits, orange juice, and coffee. There were many families with kids, so the atmosphere seemed safe and family friendly. The hotel is close to fast food places,as well as a Chinese and Thai restaurant.

This place seems to be family friendly and the owner was polite. There is even a small pool for kids to swim
