Denver Steve
I used this hotel for a family gathering. It was a great value for the money and the location afforded easy highway access. there are several good restaurants and a target close by.

Nice room and good place to stay
Candlewoods suites are always great. You get a nice work area and kitchen with full size refridgerator, stove and microwave which saves on eating out.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Drive down to the Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, Pikes Peak and the Royal Gorge. Beautiful scenery and well worth the trip.

Cheap but....
I will only say this: People cooking very bad-smelling food ruined the whole stay for me. The smell permeated my room and, at one time, got so bad I had to leave for awhile. This happened for the entire 3 nights I stayed. Also, the bathroom vents seem to be interconnected so, when someone smoked in their bathroom, mine got it too. I can’t see myself staying here again. Nice staff, though.
