An average place to stay..
My main purpose to stay in a hotel is just a comfortable way to spend the night peacefully. The hotel is ideally located in front of Piccadilly Gardens with a number of attractions like The Triangle, Arndale, Printworks, Cathedral and China town within 5-7 minutes walk and very close to the main train station. The room was very small with no great views but the bathroom was better. The corridors were dark and narrow but room was comfortable. Would stay there again if I would ever go to Manchester again.
Traveller's tip on shopping
Big malls are in very close vicinity, if your main purpose to go to Manchester is shopping, then the hotel is ideally located.

Buyer Beware!!
When we arrived at this hotel, there were rubbish bags in the lobby area just laying about, and the faux snake/osterich chairs were a bit Over the Top considering the rest of the hotel, but the lobby had clearly just undergone a refurbishment of sorts and looked semi-clean (barring the rubbish bags - but at least the rubbish was in the bags and not on the floor). Once in our rooms, it was a different story. A crooked lamp (broken) on the desk, brown streaks running down the walls and something that resembled a bullet hole next to one of the beds. The carpets were not even properly fitted to the rooms, it looked like someone had gone out to get the leftovers but they didnt quite fit. Lets move on to the bathrooms. The showers had mold gathering in the grout and crevices, hte sink taps had missing bits, the loo roll holder was broken nad left on the wall as a consolation prize and the loo actually moved when you sat down. In some hallways, there were random holes in the walls and it had a feeling of being in a bad horror movie. In the end, we left the hotel and went to the premier inn, which was like a squeaky clean mecca in comparison.

OK Hotel to stay
Nice Hotel in Piccadilly to stay. Close to the train station and shops. Staff can be a little friendlier and a little more helpful. Otherwise ok to stay.
