Hot and stuffy rooms cause the air conditioners are fans
They try to trick you with thier so called wifi and the air conditioners that blow nothing but warm air. Not a very comfortable place to stay.

AWESOME
the hotel looks pretty small but the rooms are great i had such an awesome experience at the days inn i went to oakland for the weekend and it was just amazing, the room was very clean and the location was perfect theres a burger king right next door! u could walk there literally and its nearby other useful places as well, i would definitely stay there again next time im in oakland :-)
drive over to san francisco and go watch a game in cadlestick park!!! the football games are amazing!

An unpleasant hotel experience
I have visited Alameda many times but usually stay at another hotel. But the Days Inn always looked OK so I thought I’d give it a chance. I booked one night at the start of a California tour and two nights at the end. I chose a non-refundable and non-changeable rate which seemed a good deal. As soon as we walked into the smelly, dirty reception that first night I realised I had made a mistake. The welcome was non-existant and the room generally unpleasant. It was late and we had no option other than to make the best of it that one night. But as soon as we had checked out the following day and I could get in front of a computer I made reservations at an alternative hotel for the two nights when we returned to Alameda. It meant I lost the money I already paid for the Days Inn and I hate the idea of wasting money. But it was a price I was willing to pay to avoid staying there again.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Alameda is on San Francisco Bay and if you head down to the shore you get to see great sunsets over San Francisco 8 miles across the Bay. For early risers sunrise over the Oakland Hills is pretty impressive too.
