Good hotel, but a little distance from the centre of Singapore
The hotel is well maintained, with friendly and helpful staff. The atrium is stunning, and if you take a trip in the (glass) lift to the top floor and look down into the lobby, it’s enough to give you wobbly legs - but worth it for the view!! We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food, but the beer at the bar was a little on the expensive side. Overall, I would recommend this hotel - Chinatown is just about within walking distance, but taxis are easy to get and are not very expensive (and they are air conditioned too!)
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
There is a free shuttle bus that stops at the hotel, and several others en route, which then takes you to the Suntec Centre.

It was ok but not impressed with the bathroom or lack of windows being able to be open for fresh air. Overall I believe it to bea liitle over priced for what you get.

Great Experience
I had a great time in Singapore. I thought the hotel was a good deal... good quality for the money. It isn’t directly in the middle of everything but it is so easy to get around Singapore and the taxis are affordable.
There is a quaint Indian restaurant right across the street to the left... you go directly out to the four way stop light and cross the street going left... right there on the corner is the restaurant, right next to a car parts store, which sells amps, subs, etc.
