Hotel lobby nice, room not so much
We booked last minute and got a great deal on the room. However we didn’t realize that a "Standard" room didn’t have a window. The room was stuffy due to no fresh air. The bed was old, really soft and springy. The breakfast was great and the price was reasonable for a place to stay. If the room had a window, it would have made a difference.

Great location but tired hotel
Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Got to the room, which was a free upgrade due to our late arrival. 3 out of 5 lightbulbs missing!!! Hairdryer not working, no hot water for shower. It served the purpose as we were only staying 1 night, but rather dissappointing. One very good point was the excellent full breakfast for only a £5!!!!!!

Next to the shops and clubs but very thin walls
The room was clean and large.Didn’t expect to have no window and surprised how thin the walls were as i could hear was was going on next door. Hotel is in a great location for shopping and nightlife. I would stay here again because of its location.
If your out for a night life your not too far from the Northen Quarker or Canal street. You are 50 yards away from the main shopping street and Arndale is only a bit farther.
