typical English chain hotel - designed for wedding parties more than anything else. Walls can be thin. Residents can be noisy (the police came to arrest some of them when we were staying there). Room temperatures variable - our room was warm, but our friends’ room were cold to freezing.

Quite delightful
The hotel is a bargain at the price. Bed was comfortable, very clean room, tv (no sky), the tub was a dream with its jets and the shower was powerful enough to strip skin off( I loved thay). The location is quiet and if you need anything, shops are a few mins away on foot. I will note that the bath lacked shower soap and I had the misfortune of visiting when the lift was not opperational. Enjoyed my stay. Buses from Manchester take 30 mins. Taxi takes half that and costs £15. Free WiFi at 24be McDonald at bus terminal reliable and fast
Don’t rely on the WiFi, and mobile reception can be patchy in the room. Terestrial tv only. Perfect therefore if you don’t want distractions =)

Not Impressed
No iron in Room, had to go to a different wing and up stairs to get to the designated Ironing room. Nice Indoor Pool but it Cost GBP 2.5 to use it. Single rooms are Very small and Odd. English Breakfast had poor selection of food, and there was no server, nor clean tables for us. Elevator could barely accommodate 1 person with Luggage. Room was Clean, Bathroom was nice. 3 Restaurants, didn’t try any of them except for breakfast see above. Parking lot is spread out, and mostly dirt road, expect to park far from Hotel entrance.
