Great room for the money
Extended our stay from 2 days to 5 days and gave us a king room with a jacuzzi tub for the queen room rate. My wife loved the jacuzzi. The breakfast was good and the breakfast service was great. The attendant rather than making large portions and setting them out to dry out kept making fresh eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. as it was needed. The hotel is older but has been updated. The area is busy commercial strip with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. It is easy on and off US101. I would recommend it to friends and family.

Great Hotel for the Price. Don’t know what the complaints have been about
Not sure if there have been renovations recently or what but I didn’t see any of the complaints posted by other reviewers. Totally exceeded my expectations for the price of the hotel. Pros were clean and comfortable rooms, most comfortable desk chair I’ve encountered in a "business" hotel, mini fridge, microwave, jacuzzi tub, and exceptional service. Cons were small balcony (room for 2 people, tops, comfortably), mini fridge was a bit whiny, TV was completely messed up (every channel was dark and blue), and it’s on a main street so it’s not for sleeping in. In retrospect, I should have stayed in the one near Castro because it it is far closer to the train station and the downtown area but this hotel is certainly walkable to that area if you don’t have a bunch of luggage. Breakfast was so-so but it included hot and cold items. Apparently there is a complimentary dinner too but I didn’t take advantage of that. Great overall, would stay here again.
