Great Surrey Hotel
Great service, super clean, very friendly staff, lovely pool and small fitness room. Continental breakfast was not great but perfectly acceptable. Great location, right by Highway 10 which is great for commuting into Vancouver. Minutes from shopping mall and loads of places to eat. Best of all were the views of Mount Baker. No complaint at all.
Try the local Irish Pub, Dublin Crossing. Great atmosphere, very relaxed feel. Live music and/or comedy at least 3 times a week. Reasonable food as well.

On the way
This hotel was convenient for our travels as it was on the way from Seattle to Whistler B.C. We arrived late and had no problem checking in. The adjacent restuarant was still open. Rooms were clean and staff was pleasant and professional. Did not spend any time in the surrounding area.
