Very Basic!
Although the Hotel is close to all Edinburgh has to offer.....It was Very Basic! The mattress was so old and worn out, I had to ask for another blanket and comforter to put beneath me! There is major construction going on behind the Hotel and the workers started at 7 am each day! I do not suspect the work will be done until Dec. 2009! Bring your earplugs!

Great Time in Edinburgh
This hotel is a charming and well located. It is a quick walk from the train station. I loved the room. Reception was very courteous and helpful. I was mighty pleased.

Perfect
We came to Edinburgh for the weekend and found that this hotel was ideal for what we needed. It’s only 10 mins from the train station, and very centrally located. The rooms were clean and a good size and the staff were very friendly. The only complaint I had was that the heating was turned up way too high but other than that it was a great weekend.

Don’t bother using public transport. Everything is so close that you can walk everywhere!
