Good Hotel, Great Location

I chose this hotel because it was close to Penn Station. The hotel is definitely older than many I’ve stayed at in NYC, but it has been renovated and was very comfortable. It has a fitness center in the hotel, which is always a plus when traveling. There were plenty of good restaurants nearby, the service was very good, and it was an enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Traveller's tip for business travellers

1 block from Penn Stations was a huge plus.

Like stepping back into the glory days

Walking into the New Yorker is like stepping back in time - to a time when beauty was expressed in gold rather than glass. Every space offers something to look at, to admire. While the spaces may be smaller than some other hotels they are beautifully and comfortably prepared for those who are looking for somewhere to lay their head after a day enjoying NYC.

Traveller's tip on nightlife

Check out Local 34 around the corner on 33rd Street, across from Penn Station. Find a seat on the rooftop patio where they offer heaters to keep warm on cool evenings.
